As summer marches  on we are lucky one to be in the middles of yet another outstanding crop of cherries. They are Soft and succulent,  Make the most of them as they will probably have a couple of weeks to run and then that will be it with them for another season.

peaches,necterines plums and apricots are still in very good supply.and very good value for money. english apples are starting to appear, early varieties like discoveries. english plums gages and Im sure damsons are only just around the corner.

citrus produce remains in very short supply lemons and oranges especially, grapefruit and limes less so. but all very pricey,apples of all varieties are heading north pricewise, due to good demands and last years crops coming to an end.

certain herbs are in short supply corriander seems to be at the top of everybodies buying list, if questioned some say because of ramadam, I believe its because we simply havent had enough of the wet stuff, yes a good old weather market. dill is also in short supply.
